There are so many ways to get a decent income with Internet Marketing and/or Affiliate Marketing that you really need to take a closer look at this like I did.

Affiliate Marketing gave me the extra boost in money and confidence that everything in life is really possible.

How I Did It

I often get the question “How did you do it?”. Well, I can tell you how I got started.

In the beginning I was just running some travel sites for my own company. A good friend of mine advised me to put up some advertisement at these sites. It generated just some extra cash and payed for the hosting account. Nothing exciting really.

Awhile later I discovered Affiliate Marketing and started promoting travel products on my site and getting a small commission every month. I was too busy with my regular work to see the real potential of Affiliate Marketing and until then it was more or less a hobby.

When I was working head over heels I finally decided that I needed to free up time. Instead of running in the office, I traveled with my clients as a Tour Director and Scuba Diving Instructor discovering the world. During my travels I had a lot of time to think and read. During traveling hours I also listened to audio-dvd´s and got inspired by Jack Canfield, and later by Timothy Ferris. I started to read more and learn more about Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.

I learned from many different sources, ordered books, ebooks, joined webinars, bought all kinds of money making programs, which slowed the whole process of taking real action down…

What I actually should have done from the beginning is joining the Wealthy Affiliate University. I was always skeptical about these Money Making Programs, but Kyle and Carson offered a completely different program; A membership with all kinds of handy and useful tools, a learning centre for beginners and advanced Affiliate Marketers and the famous Wealthy Affiliate Forum.
